The weather is cooling down (finally!) and the holidays are on the horizon. Which means – now is the perfect time to spruce up your home and start thinking about gifts for the hard-to-buy-for people on your list. Here are a few of my current favorite finds:

Brass Cordless Lamps

These little Italian-made brass lamps are chargeable….so you can literally pop them anywhere. I have a pair in my bar, but I think they’re perfect in a powder, on a desk, or tucked inside a bookshelf to add a touch of ambient light. I just received a new shipment of these at Antique Row…hurry, they go quick!

James Farmer’s New Book “Arriving Home: A Gracious Southern Welcome”

A girl can never have enough design books – but this is one I actually wanted to read! James is the king of comfortable, warm and traditional interiors, which is just what the season calls for.

Wicker Leather Tray through Ellis Hill

We’re always on the hunt for an interesting tray – and this bright leather version (which can be monogrammed!) is on my personal wish list. They’re handmade in Italy and come in both rectangle or circular size.

Geometric Paintings by Josh Young Design House

I’m loving the contrast of these modern, simplistic geometrics painted on antique book pages.   A series of these instantly updates a traditional room – and is neutral enough to layer on top of a colorful wallpaper.

Estelle Hand-Blown Colored Glass

These little jewels for your table come in the prettiest range of colors – both pastels and moodier tones. I also love the story behind the company, which is named after the owner’s grandmother, Estelle. Her love of antiquing and using her collection of colored glass during Sunday dinner inspired the collection!

AERIN + Williams Sonoma Home Wave Gold Frames

Aerin Lauder has impeccable taste, and I love this design she created in collaboration with Williams Sonoma. These frames are classy and timeless, but have just the right amount of whimsy to make them stand out. They would make a wonderful Christmas gift, too!
